In Canada, the population is aging and the need for more support for sick and disabled persons is rising. As such, there are more and more jobs for Health Care Support Workers.
Tri-County Literacy Council is offering a free Health Care Support Worker career exploration program. This course starts June 17, 2019. Class runs Monday to Thursday 1pm to 4pm for 5 weeks.
The program is suitable for a variety of learners including those planning to return to school and people changing careers.
