Canadian Artists Sing For Humboldt

As the country continues to mourn the loss in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash last Friday a couple of Canadian artists are paying tribute to those lost and recovering in Saskatchewan.

Kingston native Jay Smith, who some call Smitty, was up late and haunted by what happened and wrote a song he says he just had to and it’s beautiful. Smith has performed in Cornwall many times at place like the Jet Set Pub and Kelsey’s.

Last night just ahead to TSN’s playoff preview show Tom Cochrane changed some lyrics to his song “Big League” and performed and acoustic version in front of a green and yellow backdrop.
