Cornwall's Josh Barnes Commits To Penn State Keeping Him A Colt For Two More Seasons

Local teen, he’s only 15, Josh Barnes has already committed to playing NCAA hockey for Penn State. This is good news for him of course with an education through hockey but it’s also good for local hockey fans.

This young man played a handful of games for the hometown Cornwall Colts this season an didn’t look one bit out of place. He then turned a lot of heads in the post season playing all 7 games in the Hawkesbury series recording 6 points and showing what he can bring to the club.

He could have opted for the OHL having been drafted 24th overall this past season by the Owen Sound Attack.

The Penn State Nittany Lions (formerly the Icers) play in the NCAA Big Ten and have been running their current program since 1971.
