Help the RedBlacks and The Ottawa Food Bank This Saturday at TD Place

This weekend, the RedBlacks are teaming up with the CFL and Purolator to support the Ottawa Food Bank with their annual Tackle Hunger campaign.

If you are attending this Saturday night’s RedBlacks game at TD Place, you are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to the game. Donation boxes are located at gates 1, 2 and 3. Cash, debit and credit card donations are also welcome. All proceeds will go directly to the Ottawa Food Bank.  In 2017, #RNation donated over 37,746 pounds of food, helping hundreds of families in the Ottawa region.

Items that are most in need include canned meat and fish, whole grain pasta, and baby diapers.

Everyone who makes a donation will receive a ballot to get their photo with the Grey Cup (located at Gate 1) and an entry for a chance to win a RedBlacks Tackle Hunger jersey, signed by Trevor Harris and Alex Mateas.

The RedBlacks, the CFL, Purolator and the Ottawa Food Bank thank you for your support. We’ll see you Saturday night at TD Place.
