Would Urban Camping Work In Cornwall?

A friend of mine recently tagged a few city councillors and posed suggested urban campsites might be something to explore to generate tourism and revenue.

The idea is catching on in many places with seemingly affordable domes that get erected providing hotel quality amenities while “roughing” it outdoors.

Cape Breton has an urban campsite with a view opening this summer and not far in Charlevois, Quebec has some isolated sites with a pretty sweet set up.

Here in Cornwall it could possibly work along the banks of the St.Lawrence in Guindon Park, Lamoureux Park and maybe even Point Maligne by Marina 200 overlooking the St.Lawrence.

It will be interesting to see if the city at least explores this option moving forward.
