Spring is around the corner but parking restrictions aren't easing up just yet.

You won’t be able to park on the side of the street in Cornwall at least through the month of March.

The city will be extending it’s overnight winter parking restrictions until April 1st. That means you won’t be allowed to park on the street between 1 and 7 a.m. Typically these restrictions would be lifted by mid-March, but it’s been postponed this year.

That’s because there’s still a lot of snow and ice on the ground. But the city does say that if it all starts to melt, they might reconsider.

If you are caught parking on the street overnight, you could be fined $25. ~Bill

P.S. To make you feel better about this, here’s Queen’s Live Aid performance from 1986. You’re welcome. ~Bill
