The United Way Centraide SDG is excited to host its 10th Annual Holiday Gala that has raised over $450,000 for the community in a decade. Presented by ZipGrowTM, this year’s signature holiday event will be on Saturday, November 26 at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club.
Hosted by boom 101.9’s Bill Halman and 104.5 Fresh Radio’s Vic, is the United Way’s largest fundraising event of the year. The money raised helps support the life-changing work of 15 local agencies and 18 programs that are tackling poverty on several fronts: food security, mental health counselling, essential skills training, mental health awareness, sexual assault support, youth mentorship, and specialized services.

The Holiday Gala raffle is also back! From November 14 – 26, you have a chance to win some exciting prizes, including wine for a year, beer for a year, $500 cash, and jewellery from Pommier Jewellers. Tickets are $25 each or 4 for $100. Tickets will be available at the United Way office on 55 Water St W Suite 240 starting November 14.
