Our annual writing competition “Writing in 150” will be held :
Sun. May 5, 2024 from 10 am-12:30 pm, with the public invited to hear your stories and songs from 1:00-2:30 pm.Location: Lost Villages Brewery – 16133 County Rd. 36, Long Sault, ON K0C 1P0
1st & 2nd place winners, in all categories, will be published in an anthology by Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood Publishing Inc. (https://www.preraphaelitebrotherhoodpublishing.ca/
Each participant has 2 1/2 hours (150 minutes) to write a piece of FICTION, NON-FICTION, POETRY/SPOKEN WORD, or SONG based on a prompt word. After 12:30 the pieces will be blind judged and while the judges are deliberating the writers will share their work with each other, and the public is invited!
There are only 10 spots available per genre. Except for the SONG contestants, each writer must indicate if they are PUBLISHED (self
published counts) or UNPUBLISHED.
$25 entry fee.
