The first show of the Seaway Valley Theatre Company’s new season is “The Curous Savage”, a comedy by John Patrick.
“Ethel P. Savage has inherited her late husband’s massive estate, which she wants to use to help those less fortunate. Her three adult stepchildren, however, have other ideas. In an attempt to keep it for themselves, they commit her to a group home for social misfits. She’s one step ahead of them, though, and has creatively hidden the money. With a little help from the residents, comedy ensueas as she outwits her stepchildren by sending them on a wild goose chase to find it.”
