Cornwall Community Museum Continues Celebrating 70 Years of History. It has been a busy and exciting summer for the SD&G Historical Society and the Cornwall Community Museum as they mark the Museum’s 70th anniversary. From a lively Sock Hop Dance in June to a Kite-Flying event and a Plein Air Artists’ Day in July, the Society and Museum have found creative ways to celebrate seven decades of preserving and sharing the history of Cornwall and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

Get ready for the return of Cornwall’s premier pickleball event! Back for its second incredible year, the Cornwall Broadview Classic 2026 is taking over the gorgeous outdoor Broadview Courts for four action-packed days. Whether you are looking to test your skills in the Amateur divisions or battle it out for glory in the Open divisions, we have a spot for you across Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, and Split-Age categories.

Kozroots Community Empowerment Projects invites everyone to Lamoureux Park on Saturday, September 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a full day of creativity, wellness, food, garlic, and community connection — three events in one vibrant space on one day in Lamoureux Park on the beautiful waterfront.

The first United Way Ultimate Burger Battle is coming to Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Cornwall & Akwesasne this September! United Way Centraide SDG is launching its tastiest event of the year. 8 local restaurants and eateries across our region will be serving up their delicious signature Ultimate Burgers, where $2 from every single Ultimate Burger sold is donated to help our communities.

Join the Transition Cornwall +  Food Action Group on August 22 for an inspiriting and educational event hosted at the homestead of Bill and Karen Carriere in South Stormont. Discover the best veggies for tiny yards, how to grow fruit trees in tight spaces, super greens for fall and much more, including self-guided garden and orchard walk and fun activities for kids!

Arts in The Park Featuring local recording band Loose Leaf Company. The band will perform covers of popular songs as well as some of their originals. Arts in the Park is a series of FREE outdoor concerts at the Lions Club Bandshell in Lamoureux Park, during the summer months. Free parking is available at the Cornwall Civic Complex as well as behind the Bandshell.

This is a traveling Antiques and Relics showcase well over 100 items spanning several centuries! Seven of Thomas Edison’s inventions are included. Items depicting the discovery and evolution of recorded sound/music as well as that of the telephone will be displayed. Many forgotten items that were once seen around the homestead will resurface for your viewing pleasure. None of the items are for sale or for touch but are available for display. To ensure that this is accessible to everyone, there is no admission fee.

Mark your calendars! Marquez vos calendriers! Laurencrest will be hosting their second annual BBQ fundraiser in support of their youth programs. This event is rain or shine. They will have face painting, lawn games, music & fun! Food & beverages will be available to purchase, donations are welcome. RAIN OR SHINE. 

After last years sellout crowd success, the Williamstown Rodeo is coming back to Williamstown Fairgrounds from July 3rd and 4th, 2026, in collaboration with Black Creek Rodeo Co. Bringing you the toughest sport on dirt with events like bareback riding, saddle bronc, barrel racing, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, team roping, bull riding and junior bull riding and mutton busting.

Meet Tobias Maxwell at the Cornwall Square on June 27 from 12pm to 3pm.  Tobias Maxwell was born and raised in Cornwall, Canada. He joined the first Canadian Youtheatre company at fifteen and toured the province of Ontario for a summer.

The event invites local artists and community members to set up their easels and paint the picturesque surroundings in the open air.
