At the age of 9 or 10, I knew I wanted to be a Radio Announcer (disc-jockey in those days).
I surfed up and down the radio dial listening to as many radio stations I could tune in from our home in Montreal. I couldn’t believe people got paid to do that kind of thing! Thirteen or so years later, I realized my dream by joining CJSS (am in those days) as a disc jockey. It didn’t matter that I started my radio career on-air over night from midnight to 6am, I had arrived! Thankfully that lasted less than three months ‘till I graduated to daytime radio. I won’t tell you how long ago that was (8 Track tapes were the “thing”) and I’m still doing it. I guess you can say that I knew what I wanted in life before I even shaved.
I’d planned on being here for 3 years or so before moving on but marriage, four kids, a bunch of friends and a love of the city has kept me here.
